Waking from a nightmare,
Fearful and frightened,
Another different reminder,
A clear night sky,
Residual heat fading fast,
I am not sure how long we will last,
No honourable profession,
Or valid faith,
Can disguise what we lack,
Insight, awareness, knowledge and truth,
Remain sincerely aloof,
Fragility and flaws,
We are but yours,
