    The appetite subsides,
    stress disapates,
    breathing easier,
    glad of the rest,
    accepting fragility,
    belonging,
    a place for indifference,
    among the distress of passion,

    sentiment,
    void from context of application,
    black eyes,
    with less soul,
    than I could control,
    hypnotised,
    enchanted,
    the conduit,

    I'll meet you at the crossroads of money and time,
    floating away in an ocean of space,
    a ticket,
    a receipt,
    a keepsake,
    buried in the sand,

    big stone blocks wall the pavement,
    a quiet companion to the bustle of the ever changing street,

    On Null Island, 
there was no rejection, 
just requests,
no seasons greetings,
no long days,
no entrapment,
no unhealthy ways,
sensibility and cultural calm,
jolly sailors,
safe from harm,

    Denial of division, 
    provision,
    I turn to stone,
    a day without rock bottom,
    the crunch of fresh soft snow,
    in mountains formed long ago,

    Comfort
    I held the reins firm, 
as thunder rumbled through the mountain surround,
my horse reared with trepidation, 
echoing my thoughts and sentiments, 
with her reassuring might I pressed on,
with the bitter cold I felt the warmth of my jacket and balaclava,
one with my warm bloody beast,

    With this,
I gave it everything,
with you,
I gave it all,
with this,
current technology,
energy transfer,
fresh vigour,
humble valour,
sea salt kisses,
sun kissed lush meadows,
soft deciduous,
prickly evergreen,
wisdom from the mountains,
compassion from sea,

    Weevils
    Ascertain,
figures of strength,
companion,
the voyage,
vessel,
recourse,
stood before her bows,
crashing waves crush my doubts,
swell,
defining course,
reverberations of a pacifist,
weevils in the biscuits,
soldier and sailor, 
share another damp cigarette,

    Drambuie
    In a frenzied loop of heightened tension,
to know was to become felt and heard,
like rivers that thunders through the canyon of West Field,
some bantering, 
some chartered,
some belonged to those with good course,
the uttering's of which were remarked, 
by the sense of belonging felt, 
guess without fear of that which is not known,
be devoured by wicked sinful strikes, 
the darkest of miserable and the most harmful hurt, 
capture that which you need,
 wrap around yourself like a freedom flag,  
upbeat since you were in the know,
